Living together at school"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Learning to transform violence into peace<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through a series of stories inspired by students&#8217; everyday lives, the <em>PAX!<\/em> comic strip encourages children to observe, understand and resolve situations of tension or conflict in a non-violent way. The stories encourage them to think about difference, respect, dialogue and seeking help when in difficulty. <\/p>\n<p>Developed with teachers, parents and education professionals, <em>PAX!<\/em> supports the prevention of violence in the school environment and promotes relationships based on trust, listening and cooperation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What children will explore:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding the difference between conflict and violence<\/li>\n<li>Learning to manage disputes through dialogue<\/li>\n<li>Develop listening skills, tolerance and respect for others<\/li>\n<li>Identify risky behavior and know where to turn<\/li>\n<li>Building trust between children and adults<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Origin of the project<br \/>\n<\/strong>PAX! is an initiative of the Junior Chamber International of Geneva, in collaboration with the Groupement des associations de parents d&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e8ves du primaire (GAPP), the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 p\u00e9dagogique genevoise (SPG), the D\u00e9partement de l&#8217;instruction publique, and several educational and medico-social services.<\/p>\n<p>Distributed to schools in the canton of Geneva for almost 20 years, it continues to be used as a tool for raising awareness of the importance of living together and non-violence.<br \/>\nA tool for learning to live together respectfully and without violence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fun, educational comic book to reflect on violence, learn how to defuse conflict and reinforce mutual respect at school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Age: <\/strong>8-12 years<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Audience: <\/strong>general public (schools, families, mediation)<br \/>\n<strong>Format<\/strong>: illustrated comic strip<br \/>\n<strong>Language<\/strong>: French<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7168,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"product_brand":[],"product_cat":[277,276],"product_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-7291","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-resources-for-children","7":"product_cat-teaching-manuals","9":"first","10":"instock","11":"featured","12":"shipping-taxable","13":"purchasable","14":"product-type-simple"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
