Peace education promotes access to inclusive, quality education. It enables teachers to move holistically from an authoritarian, frontal teaching style to an active, child-centered approach. It has also been proven that the acquisition of psychosocial skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, empathy and cooperation is directly linked to improved academic success.
Peace Education is a systemic approach to child protection that focuses on building the child, transforming adults’ view of violent discipline, and making human rights a reality in living together.
